Annelies is a senior PA at Specsavers but has a background and professional qualifications in tourism. She is passionate about Guernsey and the unique history that has shaped both its place in the world and its people. Annelies is a native Dutch speaker and can manage basic German and French.

Married to a Guernseyman, Dutch by birth but Guernesiais by soul!

Walk 1 – A Town walk through Guernsey history

Walk the beautiful streets and alleyways of St Peter Port from high places to low places whilst looking & learning about Guernsey history, as well as some of its more illustrious residents.

Walk 2 – Trade & Treasure

What shaped the beautiful town of St Peter Port you see today? The answers may surprise you. From Romans to ‘legal pirates’, smugglers and mighty merchants – join me on a journey through time to discover Guernsey’s ever changing trade activities. Together we will discover the ‘Trade & Treasure’ that built our Town and Island.
