About

With a background in operations in the travel and tourism industry and several years in local politics, Carla combines her experience with a comprehensive historical knowledge to offer you fascinating fact finding tours incorporating interesting tales and topical information about our island of Guernsey. Carla also organises our Spring and Autumn Walking Festivals.

Walk 1 - St Peter Port

90 minute walking tour of the fascinating town and harbour of St Peter Port, great for visitors to help get your bearings at the start of your stay. ‘Port & Pie’ an eclectic walk of fact and fiction in parallel with the film and book - Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. ‘In Hugo’s Footsteps’, St Peter Port, home to Victor Hugo during his 15 year exile in Guernsey. Explore the town through his eyes.

Walk 2 - Coastal Walks

Guided rambles along and around the coasts. From the cliffs in the south to the glorious sandy beaches along the west coast, all have tales to tell. You’ll hear about Neolithic times, how Guernsey protected itself from attempted French invasions, the Occupation by the Germans during the Second World War and about modern day living in Guernsey.

Walk 3 - Off Piste

Off the beaten track walks along our beautiful Green Lanes and Ruettes Tranquilles. These are unique walks which showcase Guernsey's rural living and the natural environment - delightful all year round but stunning in spring, with the season’s natural wild flower displays.

With appropriate notice, tailored walks to meet specific requirements can be made available. Walks can be from two hours to a full day.
